A walk in time

The earliest records of civilization is about 4500B.C. In the land of the Sumerians . This land is known to us as south Iraq.
Most of the Old Testament takes place much latter. The Old Testament starts about the Bronze age. The Bronze Age is from about 3100B.C. to 1200B.C. The Bronze Age is called the Bronze Age because , you guest it ! The time the weapons and all other things started to be cast of bronze. Before this time they were made of what ? (Yes Stone) Also at this time is when written languages were formed. This is also about the time when cities began to grow. Noah also lived during this age of time. He was probably born about 2800B.C. Most scholars think the flood occurred some where round 2300B.C. Just think , here we are in 2011 A.D. , and that was 2300B.C. The world has been here a long time as we know it. About 200 years in both directions of the birth of Jesus Christ. The great pyramids were built in Egypt about 2600B.C. The covenant between Abraham and God was round 1900B.C. The giving of the Law ( 10 Commandments ) on Mount Sinai was about 1900B.C. The exodus from Egypt was also about that time. Joshua led his people to Canaan about the year 1400B.C.

The Great Iron age was from 1200B.C. to 330 B.C.

Judges was from about 1375 B.C. to 1050 B.C.

Babylon destroyed Jerusalem in about the year 586B.C. David was king from 1010B.C. to 970B.C. And Solomon was king 970B.C. to 930B.C.
